High Performance Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry
Designed for high sensitivity, reproducibility and reliability in high resolution applications.
The MSI GD90 is an established high resolution glow discharge mass spectrometer, initially launched in 1992. The instrument has been operating successfully in US government laboratories since that date.
The instrument is being re-introduced by MSI following the formation of an experienced glow discharge team comprising 40 years of hands on experience.
The Autoconcept GD90 is deigned for quantitative analysis of solids by Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry. The system is primarily focused on bulk analysis to sub part per billion level with a minimum of sample preparation. Areas of particular interest are the analysis of metals and specialist alloys, the analysis of ultra-pure materials especially in the semi-conductor industry and, with the addition of an RF source, insulators.
Key features include:
- Quantitative Data to sub-ppb levels
- Isotope Ratio Analysis
- Depth Profiling Capability
- Minimum sample preparation
- Lack of matrix effects
