total particulate mercury (TPM)

TPM consiusts of mercury bound or adsorbed to atmospheric particulate matter. Several different components are possible: Hg° or RGM adsorbed to the particle surface, or divalent mercury species chemically bound to the particle or integrated into the particle itself.
