The Agilent 7700s ICP-MS delivers high performance and flexible operation for ultra-trace elemental analysis in high purity semiconductor applications. With a high efficiency sample introduction system, Pt-tipped interface cones, optional 5th plasma gas line and second (reaction) cell gas line as standard, the 7700s offers the highest sensitivity and widest range of interference removal technologies of any ICP-MS. The 7700s includes the ORS3 collision/reaction cell which uses He mode for unknown and variable interferences, or reaction mode for the effective removal of intense interferences in known and consistent matrices. The 7700 is highly compact, saving valuable lab space and reducing installation and running costs for cleanroom operation. - Effective interference removal utilizing the innovative 3rd generation Octopole Reaction System (ORS3) cell that removes spectral interferences more effectively than ever before using He mode.
- Reaction mode using hydrogen cell gas as standard and optional 3rd cell gas line for other reaction gases, such as NH3.
- Unmatched cool plasma capability also delivers industry-leading performance for easily ionized elements in high-purity materials (such as Li, Na, K, Fe and Ca in simple matrices such as deionized water, peroxide, HF, etc), allowing all common semiconductor analytical methods to be performed on the same instrument.
- Built-in tuning and method templates for all common semiconductor applications, including collision/reaction mode and cool plasma ensure the highest data quality and lowest BECs.
- Standard Operating Procedures for all common semiconductor sample types simplify method development.
- Lower heat output and reduced exhaust vent flow, with a redesigned cooling air-flow management system, particularly important in clean-room installations.
- Enhanced data analysis and reporting with powerful new ICP-MS MassHunter software platform.
- Compact benchtop design makes the 7700 one of the world’s smallest commercial ICP-MS, saving valuable work bench and laboratory space, particularly important in cleanroom installations.
The 7700s ICP-MS system has been discontinued since July 2014 and is no longer available for purchase. Is has been superseded by the 7900 ICP-MS. Suited for an even wider range of applications, the 7900 ICP-MS is the next generation of ICP-MS performance
