Specifications
Sample introduction ESIA External Sample Introduction Assembly (ESIA) consists of the spray chamber, nebulizer and peristaltic pump mounted outside the torch box to eliminate drift effects caused by reflected heat from the plasma compartment. ESIA ensures higher productivity with rapid start-up, easy access for maintenance and cleaning and provides faster wash-out times than water-cooled spray chambers.
Nebulizer Standard glass concentric nebulizer. Optional inert V-groove nebulizer and a range of low flow inert microconcentric nebulizers is available. Optional glass or inert cyclonic designs.
Spray chamber Inert double-pass with cyclonic action Sturman-Masters design suitable for use with aqueous, organic and HF solutions.
Peristaltic pump Computer controlled, variable speed, 10 roller, 4 channel peristaltic pump is provided as standard. Accommodates internal standard, sample and drain tubing, with one spare channel.
Torch Standard one-piece, low flow torch. An optional demountable torch (with either alumina or quartz wide bore or narrow bore injector tubes) is available.
Torch XYZ position Full PC control of X, Y and Z positions of plasma for maximum sensitivity and minimum polyatomic interferences. Sampling depth (Z) can be stored in each analytical worksheet.
Maintenance Spacious plasma compartment simplifies routine maintenance. Torch slides to service position for easy access to cones. Rapid release mechanism for changing torch.
