Registrations pick up as REACH deadline looms

(14.11.2010)

Deadline approaching !
To help industry to submit their REACH registration dossiers in time ECHA has decided to keep the REACH-IT system open also during weekends from 19 November until the first registration deadline on 30 November 2010.

ECHA expects still more than 10,000 dossiers to be submitted by the deadline. Lead registrants are strongly advised to submit at least two weeks before the deadline in order to leave enough time for the other SIEF members to submit their dossier. All registrants are strongly advised to submit their dossier before the weekend of 27-28 November, so that they still have time before the deadline to address any shortcomings found during ECHA’s business rules check.

Webinar for inexperienced registrants

ECHA will host on 15 November a special webinar to offer further assistance to any companies who may still be unfamiliar with the registration process. The webinar will be available to all and will focus on the key technical steps that need to be followed to ensure the successful submission of a member registration dossier by the 30 November 2010 deadline.

    Date: 15 November 2010
Time: 15:00 Eastern European Time (GMT +2)

On 1 December 2010 the REACH-IT will be shut down for an upgrade. It will be reopened on 2 December. During this upgrade the system will be amended to follow the legal changes that take place on 1 December with the amendment of REACH by the CLP Regulation (Article 58 of CLP).
