EVISA's data centre: Development of the content
EVISA's data centre comprising a set of databases related to speciation analysis as well as sections on techniques, legislation, events and news, is providing valuable information towards its user community.
Collecting, evaluating and updating the information related to all aspects of trace element determination and speciation is an ongoing process performed regularly by EVISA. We not only add continuously new information (during the year 2023 we added 131 pages) but we also try to improve the access to the information by adding new features to our data centre. The content of the EVISA data centre now is more than 17,512 pages of valuable information (not counting link lists and other indexing pages). Because of the highly dynamic internet with its high volatility of the location of an information, especially keeping links to external information is a very time-consuming task. Using in-house made tools, we try our best to keep links alive, however we apologize if temporarily some links may have broken.
